League Information

The French League, also called by Frenchies the "Ligue FR", is a friendly league running since the earlier years of LFS on LFS France. It was originally founded by MT-Shark, and since 2008 it moved on the Gcomp plateform build by Gai-Luron, which is also know for his LFS Lapper. It has been managed and ran by many hoster/admins (Shark, Loconstant, Quaid, Momo92i, Worm...), but since 2013, System (Kova.) stayed in charge of it, and has never stopped it despite the lowering grids.
Basically made for french talking people, it has always allowed strangers of another nations to compete in, without any restrictions.
The concept is to take part to a certain amount of events which is an average of 10 to 12 events per season, among which you have 3 jokers, which mean you can miss or fail 3 events during the whole season, they won't be counted. Each event is made by more or less than 4 weeks of pre-qualifying, in which you compete to set your fastest lap on the designed combo at the server, in order to set your grid position. The pre-qualifying ends the night from Sunday to Monday at midnight, french time. And then the following monday at 9:15 pm french time, takes place the race for about 30 mins.

Monday 3rd November, 9PM at the French clocks, it was time to turn the attention at Fern Bay as it was the moment for the Ligue FR to run its 10th round for the 2025 season! And for the first time ever since Jsk brought the MRc into the french league, we would see 2 cars registered for the international team, as Finland's Cride was there. And what a better manner for both drivers to be on the first row? Indeed, Jsk claimed his second consecutive pole position in front of his team mate. Yorry was in 2nd row, in front of KingOfIce. Meuh and Chazz were in 3rd row, while DLV, Rydh, Kip and newcomer SyN's Lateglue were completing the top 10 of a crazy grid of 24 cars, which is the current season record!

At the green light, the MRc pair took a great start, but behind, the action already started at the first corner, as Meuh's red GUM Garage car was sent into the air! Indeed, FSR Team's latest recruit, Chazz, was unfortunately suffering the infamous "ghost cars" issue where he could see only himself on track. After noticing the problem wasn't going away, the german decided to retire ASAP as he was parked on the 2nd corner, while Meuh retired instead of joining back. Cride decided to put pressure on his Slovakian team mate, and ended the first lap as the race leader. But that unfortunately didn't lasted long! Indeed, the Finnish driver made a first mistake on the second lap after the first turn, and gave back the race leading keys to Jsk, as he joined back to 9th. Yorry was promoted to the second place in front of DLV... The same DLV who also made a mistake a lap later! The FSR Team driver also joined back in P9, in front of his boss. They eventually started to fight until the next lap, when they arrived side by side at the first corner, System decided to lift a bit to not crash with his own team mate... But that happened anyway, sort of, as behind, Gerti came full speed and tried to avoid System.. Sadly, it didn't worked, the FSR team mates collided and System dropped into the ranking, while Gerti abandoned after his car tried to jump the bridge and join the FE3 path. What a beginning! A lap later, M.Zenki added his name to the 1st corner victims, and decided he would not make more mess and decided to retire. We where coming into the 8th lap when Jsk was leading in front of Yorry, Rydh, KingOfIce, Kip, Cride, Donald, Lateglue, DLV and Proxima for the top 10. When suddenly, French streamer for VirtuaSimTV, Hekatte, had to shout a couple of "OH LA LA!" Indeed, the things went from worst to real worst! Rydh, who was under the pressure of KingOfIce, made a costful mistake, and behind him, almost no one could avoid that!! KingOfIce, Kip, Cride, Donald, Lateglue, DLV and Nanex were all implied into this big one! DLV, Nanex, Proxima and Cyk were the most fortunates one to get away quickly of it. Rydh had to withdrawn, so did Cride, when Lateglue or KingOfIce paid a visit to the pits... We weren't arrived to the mid race, that there was indeed already a lot to be noted. But that was not the end! Proxima took the best from his boss Nanex for P4, while Kip also started to climb back. Behind, System entered back into the top after visiting the queue of the ranking, as he clocked himself into 18th in the 4th lap...

As we were almost approaching the mid race mark, we would see a battle between the 2025's league champion and his runner-up, because indeed, after the 8th lap incident, KingOfIce was in System's rear wing. But the FSR Team's boss wasn't decided to let KingOfIce pass that easily! The GUM Garage's driver tried all he could, but unfortunately he was starting to make mistakes, and a costful one at the turn 1 sent him further more down in the ranking, leaving System in peace. At the same time, A.Bricka suffered a technical issue, and was stranded into the second sector, before he could eventually join the spectators, and be the 7th DNF of this crazy race! In front, Jsk was peacefully leading in front of Yorry, although he wasn't gapping that much his Bulgarian opponent. DLV was glued to his 3rd place, in front of Proxima and Nanex, when Kip was coming back into 6th. Donald also climbed back from the 8th lap incident, when Cyk was doing the opposite and started to give up positions after positions. On lap 15, Speedou went for a tanning session at the entry of the 3rd sector. Unfortunately for the FSR driver, he was stuck at the beach, and had to be the 8th DNF of this race. Kip then got Nanex's P5, when a lap later, System passed Cyk for P8. Nanex eventually wasn't putting much risks into his race, leaving Donald the opportunity to take his 6th position. We thought the end for the race was just about the fastest drivers to get back some positions... But it wasn't over! On the 25th lap, Kip who was like a unleashed beast, started to knock at Proxima's rear wing... The Dutch eventually passed him before coming into the first corner, but Proxima turned into Kip's rear wing, sending the FSR driver into the tires of the first corner. Proxima had minimal damages has he could avoid the walls on the 1st turn loophole, but for Kip it was another story, as both of his front dampers passed away. He had to use a reset as he was unable to steer, which slammed him with a penalty. But Proxima couldn't escape that easily, as he sort of "penalised" himself all alone 2 corners later, and went to kiss the Fern Bay's mountain with his front wing... And after 29 laps, Jsk took a second consecutive win after a eventful race! Yorry scores a great second place in front of his team mate DLV. Donald finished 4th, in front of a opportunistic Nanex! But the NFR boss can be really proud that his strategy of not taking too much risk, and he's paid with a 5th place! System saved a 6th place, in front of Proxima and Cyk. KingOfIce managed to come back into the top 10, with a 9th place, in front of his boss, Tomfuel, who close the door of the top 10. 16 drivers out of the 24 saw the checkered flags of this crazy race!

In the championship, the top 3 drivers doesn't really improve their score as this race will be count as a joker race for their poor results. That allow Donald to come back 1pt off Kip's P3. System, 5th, still keep Yorry ahead, but the Bulgarian is starting to close the gap more and more, while DLV is far away in 7th, in front of Proxima, Cyk and Nanex. On the team side, FSR Team has the best score for this round for a double podium. For the GUM Garage, it's a round to be forgotten despite Donald's P4, And KingOfIce's P9, meaning they have to use a joker. But that indeed doesn't put a lot of changes in the ranking except a little gap closure from FSR Team.
Next round, the penultimate round of the season, will be held the 24th November, at Westhill, with the Formula RC6.
